# What's new in v10

The main changes in the OrchestKit v10 betas: new hosts, Claude 5.5 models, a stronger PR review, test and eval skills, and safety guards you turn on.

import { Callout } from 'fumadocs-ui/components/callout';

OrchestKit v10 is in beta. The first beta, 10.0.0-beta.1, shipped on 2026-09-06. This page covers the betas up to 10.0.0-beta.171 (2026-10-11). The last stable release is v9.8.1.

This page gives the 10 main changes from the 10.0.0-beta sections of the [changelog](/changelog). Each item links to the page that explains it.

<Callout type="info">
To install the current beta, use the command on the [installation page](/docs/getting-started/installation). To try it first with no risk to real data, see [Try OrchestKit Safely](/docs/getting-started/sandbox). To see every change, read the [full changelog](/changelog).

## Hosts

### 1. Antigravity is a first-class host

OrchestKit supports Google's Antigravity (agy) as a host (beta.54). Install the skills through skills.sh and the workspace `.agents/skills` directory.

Read more: [Antigravity](/docs/getting-started/agy).

### 2. More hosts get more of the plugin

- Devin can install the plugin and load its skills (beta.31).
- Cursor gets the rules, exported to `.cursor-plugin` (beta.10).
- Pi gets a manifest and a `.pi/mcp.json` allowlist template (beta.10).
- Codex gets the `ork-mech` profile (beta.11).

Read more: [Hosts](/docs/getting-started/hosts).

## Models and Claude Code

### 3. The Claude 5.5 models

The model aliases now point at the 5.5 models. Opus 5.5 is the default Opus (beta.79). Sonnet 5.5 is the `sonnet` target (beta.132). The `haiku` alias moves to `claude-haiku-5-5`, with its pricing in the hooks (beta.171). The agents also follow Anthropic's working guidance for Opus 5.5 (beta.80).

Read more: [Agents overview](/docs/agents/overview), section "Model Assignment Strategy".

### 4. Claude Code 2.1.278 to 2.1.296

The betas adopt each Claude Code release from 2.1.278 to 2.1.296 (beta.79, beta.132, beta.147 and beta.167). The adoption loop reads each release and files the work that OrchestKit must do.

Read more: [How we adopt every Claude Code release](/docs/guides/cc-adoption).

## Review and ship

### 5. A stronger PR review

`/ork:review-pr` has three changes:

- The parallel review phases (Phases 3 and 4.5) run as one Workflow script (beta.120).
- An opt-in rule-check mode runs one verifier for each rule (beta.140).
- A standards pass reads a standards file that is only for review (beta.166).

Also, `/ork:create-pr` runs a CodeRabbit CLI review before it opens the PR, when the CLI is installed (beta.23).

Read more: [review-pr](/docs/reference/skills/review-pr) and [create-pr](/docs/reference/skills/create-pr).

### 6. Workflow scripts for verify and assess

`/ork:verify` runs its Phase 2 dispatch as a Workflow script (beta.96). `/ork:assess` runs Phases 2 and 2.5 as a Workflow script (beta.125).

Read more: [verify](/docs/reference/skills/verify) and [assess](/docs/reference/skills/assess).

## Tests and evals

### 7. Generated tests must test behaviour

`/ork:cover` picks its targets by risk, not by coverage. A behaviour gate checks each generated test before it is kept (beta.90).

Read more: [cover](/docs/reference/skills/cover).

### 8. Error analysis before evals

The new `error-analysis` skill groups real traces into a failure taxonomy that a human confirms. Then it recommends pass or fail evals for the failures that recur (beta.89).

Read more: [Error Analysis](/docs/reference/skills/error-analysis).

## Safety and output

### 9. Guards that you turn on: careful and freeze

Two new skills add guard hooks only when you call them (beta.141). `careful` blocks destructive shell commands, for example a force push or a hard reset. `freeze` stops file edits outside one directory.

Read more: [Careful](/docs/reference/skills/careful) and [Freeze](/docs/reference/skills/freeze).

### 10. Output modes and pages you can share

The `glyph` skill gets output mode dials, a done sign-off and a page where you can try each mode (beta.163). The new `page-serve` skill gives a person a rendered HTML page at a stable HTTPS URL with no port (beta.5).

Read more: [Output modes: try them](/docs/guides/output-modes) and [Page Serve](/docs/reference/skills/page-serve).
