# StopFailure Hooks

**2 hooks** registered for the `StopFailure` lifecycle event.

| Hook | Matcher | Behavior | Description |
|------|---------|----------|-------------|
| `stop-failure-handler` | `*` | Fire-and-forget | Fires when a turn ends due to an API error (rate limit, auth failure, etc.). Flushes session state and writes an emergency handoff so the next session can resume cleanly. |
| `webhook-forwarder` | `*` | Fire-and-forget | Registered for every CC event type in hooks.json (async: true). Delegates to telemetry.emit() which fans out to pluggable sinks (JSONL local + HTTP remote). No-op when no sinks are active. |
